Mark Sunberg is the founder and president of Sunberg Capital Partners, Inc. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1994 when he joined Winter & Associates, a boutique insurance firm in St. Paul, Minnesota which was a general agency of Minnesota Life Insurance Company. He later became affiliated with Swenson Anderson, a full service, independent financial advice firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Today, Swenson Anderson is known as AdvisorNet Financial, a regional group of Cetera Wealth Services, LLC.
Having served as a financial advisor since 1994, Mark has gained vast experience in working with a diverse group of corporate and individual clients. He is driven by a unique set of beliefs about financial management. He believes that a truly independent financial advisor is critical to the financial success of his clients. He is proud to serve as a fiduciary for all of his advisory clients, as he understands the importance of making all decisions in their best interests alone. He is driven by the simple idea that his job is to work in a manner that allows his clients to sleep well each night. He regards himself as a steward of his clients’ investments (and not just for his clients’ themselves, but for their future generations, as well). He believes that there is a fundamental difference between those that wish to “look wealthy” as opposed to truly “being wealthy” and he is committed to finding the solutions that can positively impact the financial security of everyone who entrusts him with their financial lives. He works tirelessly to research and peruse the financial markets so that his knowledge base is as strong as possible.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992.
